It is recommended you take the ACT 2-3 times to get your best score.  The last test should be taken in September/October of your senior year for scholarship consideration. Please note that September is the last test date for the University of Utah deadline.  Colleges use your score for admittance and scholarship purposes. Note: 2021 graduating seniors may not need ACT score for admittance, but possibly for scholarship awards. Check with your intended college for details.

The state of Utah will provide one free ACT in March for all juniors!  Registration for this test is done during school hours and the test will take place during regular school hours.

  • The ACT is accepted by ALL four-year colleges and universities in the United States.
