ACCESS Scholars

11th Annual Expect the Great Conference

Expect the Great is a free college and career awareness and readiness event for African, African-American, and Black students and communities in Utah:

Date: The high school portion of the conference will take place virtually on Friday, March 25, 2022
While college students will attend in-person for two days of programming at the host institution Snow College, the conference committee elected to make the high school portion of the event virtual since most high school attendees live in the Wasatch Front and bussing students to and from Ephraim would be cost-prohibitive and challenging for districts.

Registration: High school students (and any of their parents, counselors, and educators, who wish to join us virtually) are encouraged to register at ExpectTheGreatUtah.com. Registration will open in January.

Content: The final schedule of breakout sessions and keynotes will be posted on the website by mid-February.

Contact Katie.Mazzie@ushe.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
