What is Concurrent Enrollment?

Concurrent Enrollment allows you to earn college credit while you complete your required high school credit. One CE class can give you credit toward high school graduation as well as university general education. You may even be able to take enough concurrent credit to satisfy general education requirements at any public college or university in Utah, all before you finish high school, by fulfilling the courses required for a Certificate of Completion. Talk to your high school counselor for more information about the specific courses your school offers toward a Certificate of Completion.

Because CE courses count for credit in two ways, the grade you earn in your high school course will automatically be reflected on your college transcript. That can be somewhat intimidating, but rest assured that our Concurrent Enrollment instructors are wonderful, and they have been well-trained to help you understand the material and succeed in the course.
